This wine was produced using the traditional “Méthode Champenoise”. Only the best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes were used, from exceptional terroirs in our Maipo Valley vineyards. 2010 Casas del Bosque Sauvignon Blanc Reserve (Casablanca Valley)
Light and elegant, with floral and talcum powder hints and a whiff of lime on the finish. Wine Spectator
2009 Cartagena Gewurztraminer San Antonio Valley
Cartagena is located in the extreme west of the San Antonio Valley, 4 km from the Pacific Ocean, and is the closest vineyard in Chile to the coast. This is a bone-dry Gewurztraminer that’s light and very crisp, aged entirely in stainless steel. Light sandalwood and floral aromas lead to citrus fruit on the palate. A great paring with Thai or Indian spices and lightly spiced seafood dishes.
2010 Maquis ‘Calcu’ Rose Colchagua Valley
The Calcu rose is 50% Malbec, 40% Syrah and 10% Petit Verdot. It has lots of fresh strawberry and floral notes on the nose, but the palate is full of flavor and not airy or delicate. It has red berry, mineral notes and a touch of tannins on the finish. This is a food-friendly rose that goes well with light asian flavors, goat cheese, salmon or roast turkey.
2008 Loma Larga Pinot Noir Casablanca Valley
Intense sherry red color with ruby hints. The nose is very meridional and brings juicy aromas of bergamot, rose petals, grenade fruit and smashed strawberries, with a touch of refreshing orange peel. In the mouth, this concentrated pinot is very fresh and elegant on the fruit aromas, with a long and complex finish on candied mango, juicy medlars and under-wood flavors.
2008 Arboleda Carmenere Colchagua Valley
Arboleda is a boutique winery founded by Eduardo Chadwick of Errazuriz and Vinedo Chadwick. This 100% Carmenere was hand-harvested from the Colchagua Valley, a subregion of the Rapel Valley. 60% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. It has lush black fruit flavors with some spice and chocolately notes. Because the wine has ripe fruit, medium body and soft tannins, it can pair with a variety of foods and even spicy dishes.
