Non vintage Mont Paral Cava Bruv Penedes (Spain)
Lively, with decent length. Citrus accents fill out the dough and cereal notes in this light, round sparkling wine. Wine Spectator

The Non-Vintage Brut, made from 2009 fruit, is a straightforward offering with a pleasant nose of yeasty minerals and white fruits, just off-dry flavors, and modest length. Drink it over the next 12-18 months. The new releases from Canals Nadal are all worthy of recommendation. Wine Advocate

2010 Julian Chivite Rosado (Rose) Gran Fuedo Navarra (Spain) – 100% Garnacha Tinta
Bodegas Julian Chivite’s Gran Feudo Rosado is one of Spain’s top selling roses. Made from 100% Garnacha this is always a popular favorite. Strawberry and watermelon notes with great acidity and a touch of minerality. This dry, but lightly fruity wine is perfect summertime refreshment. spanishtablewines.com

2009 Castell del Remei Blanc Planell (Spain) – Blend of 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Macabeo
Light, greenish yellow. Waxy citrus and orchard fruits on the nose, with complicating notes of white pepper and mint. A spicy, tightly wound midweight that offers tangy lime and lemongrass flavors and a touch of anise. Refreshingly bitter on the lime-flavored, dry-edged finish. Rated 88 Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar

2007 Pagos de Mogar Roble Ribera Del Duero (Spain) – 100% Tempranillo
6 months in American Oak Located just 1km from the Vega Sicilia winery in the same town, Bodegas Pagos de Mogar is a family owned winery producing high quality wines, following a self dictated strict level of standards. All estate owned vineyards are located on the hillsides surrounding the winery. The vines are worked so that the vigor is moderated and green pruning and crop thinning are done when necessary, leading to yields below 5,000 kg/Ha. All of the 14 hectares belonging to Mogar are planted with Tinta Pais, the local adaptation of Tempranillo. enyegroup.com
