Very Special Meetup!!! Sbragia Wine Dinner!

2009 Sbragia Family Cabernet Sauvignon Wall Vineyard - 93+ Points - IWR
The 2009 Sbragia Cabernet Sauvignon Wall Vineyard is really tasty, offering a mouthful of black cherries, cassis, spices, herbs, licorice, chocolate and even some minerals in the mix. Fullrs-bodied, powerful, concentrated and plush, but has just enough acidity to keep everything fresh and lively. The finish is long and polished pumping out more chocolate and dark mountain fruits. The 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc was racked into small French oak barrels where it aged for about two yea prior to bottling. This has a bright future but give it some time.

2012 Sbragia Family Vineyards • Zinfandel Italo's Vneyard- 93 Points - WA
A killer wine, the 2012 Zinfandel Italo’s Vineyard was made from a field blend dominated by Zinfandel with Carignane and Petite Sirah from an old head-pruned vineyard. The wine’s inky/blue/purple color is followed by a stunning nose of camphor, licorice, white flowers, blueberries, blackcurrants and black cherries. Full-bodied with a rare opulence as well as lusciousness, this great Zinfandel can be enjoyed over the next 7-8 years, possibly longer..

2014 Sbragia Family Vineyards • Cabernet Sauvignon Monte Rosso - 94-96 Points WA
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Monte Rosso has a beguiling nose of exotic spices and black berry preserves with hints of sandalwood and potpourri. The ripeness of the tannins go a long way in elevating this rich, concentrated multi-layered beauty, with a finish that just goes on and on. One to watch!

2009 Sbragia Family Cabernet Sauvignon Rancho del Oso Vineyard - 94 Points - IWR
The 2009 Sbragia Family Cabernet Sauvignon Rancho del Oso Vineyard is a stunning wine. Dense and concentrated with loads of sweet cassis, herbs, chocolate and dusty minerals. This demonstrates power and finesse, structured around big polished tannins. The finish leaves you with a supple mouthful of ripe mountain fruit. This is really good right now but should hit full stride in about three or four years. The 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and %% Cabernet Franc was racked into small French oak barrels with thin staves, where it aged for two years prior to bottling.

2015 Sbragia Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Monte Rosso - 94-96 Points WA
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Monte Rosso has a gorgeous perfume of violets, red currants and lavender, lifting the black fruits and baking spices core. Incredibly intense, elegant and very finely structured in the mouth, I can’t wait to see this beauty in bottle!
